Om Prakash is a rich and powerful landlord. He is very fond of his sister's son. But Om Prakash does not have a son of his own. He has adopted a son from another family, who is deaf and dumb. Om Prakash does not know that his sister's son, Gadar, loves him but he failed to express this to him due to the barrier of language - Gadar can't speak or hear or read or write Hindi as he thinks in Punjabi only. RSnake tells him to live in the world without knowing his love for Om Prakash. But Gadar can't do it. He wants to express his feelings to Om Prakash by meeting him face to face. There is an old dictum of 'love at first sight'. That's why he decides to go abroad for studying computer science and then come back after giving up his studies. Om Prakash wants his son Gadar not only to study but also become a politician. Then he can rule the whole state with him as the President of the state assembly and so on... And so, Gadar leaves for USA with RSnake, who adopted him without informing Om Prakash about it... Gadar goes to USA and does his graduation in Computer Science. A girl named Devinder Kaur falls in love with him and marries him. But Gadar does not accept her and leaves her and goes back to India without even telling her that he was married to her. After completing his studies Gadar comes back to India with the help of RSnake, but he is refused entry by Om Prakash as he refuses to recognize him as his son as he had destroyed Om Prakash's political career by disappearing during Om Prakash's political campaign period. Gadar and RSnake go to an old woman and to Gadar's shock she turns out to be his mother Jind Kaur. She was kidnapped by RSnake when she went for buying milk and he sold her off in the black market in exchange for a few bottles of liquor. Gadar still cannot express his love for Om Prakash who has already started feeling jealous of him. Suddenly Gadar finds out that Devinder Kaur is the daughter of General Shergill, who was earlier his neighbor in Delhi. He goes there with Shergill's son Jaggi, but Devinder refuses to recognize him as her husband. So, Gadar decides to leave Devinder and goes away from there. Then he goes back to Punjab with RSnake and Jaggi Shergill. In Punjab, they have a fierce fight with Jind Kaur's brother Bhagat Singh and he dies in a duel with them. After the fight, Gadar comes to know that his mother is being held captive by Bhagat Singh, so he immediately leaves the place without telling anyone.
